Hi-five Doughnuts  are a small locally owned bakery located in Colonie, Wisconsin. Owners  Jennifer  and  Richard Koch  started the business in 1990 as a passion project for the couple. As their business became more successful, they decided to expand their menu and offer special items like their famous delicious donuts. They chose to open a store in Colonie because of its geographical location and because it was ideal for starting a small business. Today, Hi-five Doughnuts serves customers in nine states including Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and New York. Jennifer and Richard Koch started making  donuts  by hand in a small kitchen. They baked the donuts on a wooden slat board, using a special apple glaze made from an apple that grew on the plantation.
